Why get the bundle
- A bundle gives more than one way to practice picking the right adjective, so words like 'sour' and 'soft' stay in a child's vocabulary.
The problem
'The ice felt ____' and the answer is 'loud'
Children know adjectives exist but don't always match the word to the noun. Choosing 'cold' over 'warm' takes real thought about the thing.
Grabbing any option
With four choices, kids pick the first word that sounds like an adjective, not the one that suits the noun.
Sense words are fuzzy
Cold, sour, soft and bright come from touch, taste and sight. Children need to link the noun to the sense.
Repeating 'nice' and 'big'
In their own writing, many first graders use the same two adjectives. Seeing precise choices widens the list.
Each sentence has a blank after a noun and several adjectives. Children picture the thing, such as a lemon, then pick the word that suits it.
What’s inside
30 questions, one per slide.
Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.

Who it’s for
Built for the kitchen table and the classroom.
Parents & homeschool
Ask 'what is a lemon like?' before the child answers. The picture in their head does the work.
Teachers
A good 1st-2nd grade vocabulary center, easy to do independently with the self-check key.
English learners
The nouns are everyday objects like ice, lemon and pillow, so learners tie new adjectives to things they know.

Questions
Before you buy.
Will there be more than one correct answer?
Each card is built to have one best fit among the options, so kids can check their answer with confidence.
Is this about writing adjectives?
It is practice choosing them, a step before inventing their own. Children rehearse the match between a noun and a word.
How do I get the file?
The download link appears right after checkout and lands in your inbox at the same time. One PowerPoint file you can open in Google Slides.
Can I share it with my class?
Yes — one teacher can use it with their own students, this year and next. Sharing the file with other teachers needs a separate license.
Do I need Google Slides?
No. The file is a PowerPoint (.pptx). It opens in PowerPoint, and in Google Slides once you upload it to Google Drive.
What if it isn’t right for us?
