Why get the bundle
- A poster makes a great anchor, and a wider set of money pages in the bundle lets children use what they learned from it.
The problem
A dime is smaller than a nickel
Coins do not follow size. A dime is worth more than a nickel, and children who pick by size get the value wrong.
Size does not match value
The dime is smaller than the penny and nickel but worth more. Children often pick the bigger coin as the bigger value.
Penny, nickel, dime, quarter
Each name needs to be linked to a value. Many learners can point at the coin but cannot say 5 cents or 10 cents.
Nickel and dime look alike
Both are silver. Children who go by color alone mix up 5 cents and 10 cents, so size and the name on the coin matter.
The poster pairs every coin name with its value so children can look, point and say it. Having it on the wall means the answer is there at the moment they need it.

Who it’s for
Built for the kitchen table and the classroom.
Parents & homeschool
Hang the poster at eye level. When you handle real coins, ask your child to find that coin on the wall and say its value.
Teachers
Put the poster by the math center or the class store so students can check without asking.
Money lessons
Use it as a reference during counting-money or making-change work, not only for coin recall.

Questions
Before you buy.
Is this a poster only?
This listing is a reference poster, built for quick look-ups while children work. For counting coins, see our Counting Coins set.
Will it replace handling real coins?
No. It is a reference to look at while children handle real coins. Use it to check the name and value of each coin as your child sorts and counts.
How do I get the file?
The download link appears right after checkout and lands in your inbox at the same time. One PDF with 4 pages. No account needed.
Can I print it more than once?
Yes. One teacher or one household can print unlimited copies for their own students, this year and next.
Will it print in color?
The pages are designed to print in black and white, so they print clean on any home or school printer and do not eat a cartridge.
