- One teacher or one household. Use it with your own students, this year and next
- Sharing the file itself needs a separate license
- Digital download — nothing ships

- Re-download from that link any time — no account needed
- Wrong or broken file? Email support@pencillane.com and we fix it or refund you
Why get the bundle
- The bundle includes cards and assessments, so children practice, then show they can place commas on their own.
The problem
'Red white and blue' needs two tiny marks
Lists look simple, but second and third graders forget the commas or put one in the wrong place. The comma before 'and' feels extra.
No commas at all
Children write 'apples pears and plums' as a string of words, since in speech the pauses are invisible.
Skipping the last comma
Kids put a comma after 'apples' but not after 'pears,' missing the one before 'and.'
What counts as a list?
Three or more items need commas. Two items joined by 'and' do not. That difference takes practice to see.
Each card shows a list with no punctuation and the child picks the version with commas in the right places, so the pattern 'a, b, and c' becomes familiar.
What’s inside
30 questions, one per slide.
Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.

Questions
Before you buy.
Are the lists foods and animals?
Yes. Sample lists include colors, fruits and animals, simple things children can picture.
Does it cover only three items?
Samples have three items, which is the simplest pattern. That is the foundation for longer lists.
How do I get the file?
The download link appears right after checkout and lands in your inbox at the same time. One PowerPoint file you can open in Google Slides.
Can I share it with my class?
Yes — one teacher can use it with their own students, this year and next. Sharing the file with other teachers needs a separate license.
Do I need Google Slides?
No. The file is a PowerPoint (.pptx). It opens in PowerPoint, and in Google Slides once you upload it to Google Drive.
