Why get the bundle
- A bundle gives repeated practice with date commas across formats, so children write dates correctly in their own work.
The problem
'January 4 2021' and the comma that went missing
Dates are numbers and words together, and children see them without commas on calendars. The comma between day and year is easy to forget.
No comma at all
'March 9 2019' looks complete to a child, since the date makes sense without it.
Comma in the wrong spot
Some children put the comma after the month, writing 'January, 4 2021.'
Weekday dates
A date with a weekday adds another comma. That is a step beyond the basic month-day-year pattern.
Cards show month, day and year with no comma, and the child chooses the correctly written date, building the habit of looking for the comma between day and year.
What’s inside
30 questions, one per slide.
Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.

Questions
Before you buy.
Do the pages include weekday dates?
The sample items are month, day and year. That is the pattern this topic focuses on.
Is there a calendar skill included?
No. This is about writing the date, not reading a calendar.
How do I get the file?
The download link appears right after checkout and lands in your inbox at the same time. One PowerPoint file you can open in Google Slides.
Can I share it with my class?
Yes — one teacher can use it with their own students, this year and next. Sharing the file with other teachers needs a separate license.
Do I need Google Slides?
No. The file is a PowerPoint (.pptx). It opens in PowerPoint, and in Google Slides once you upload it to Google Drive.
