Why get the bundle
- Using the least and greatest sets together helps children flip the question each time. The bundle gathers both.
The problem
Which of 7, 9 and 3 is least? They pick 9
Least is harder than greatest, because the biggest number stands out and children grab it. Preschoolers must also hold three numbers at once.
Picking the biggest
Asked for the least, a child circles 9 because it looks important. Reading the word least is part of the job.
Three numbers to hold
Comparing 7 and 9 is easy. Keeping the smaller one in mind while checking 3 is new.
Few and fewest words
Least and fewest are new vocabulary. Piles of counters help children link the word to the smallest pile.
Each question shows three numbers within 10, and children circle the least. Counting objects and lining up piles supports the first questions.
What’s inside
30 questions, one per slide.
Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.
