- 30 question slides, one question per slide
- A type-in answer box on every question
- A title slide and an answer key slide at the end
- One .pptx file — opens in Google Slides and PowerPoint
Why choose this over a free activity
- Wrong choices match the usual slips

License and file format
- One .pptx file; upload it to Google Drive to open it in Google Slides
- One teacher or one household. Use it with your own students, this year and next
- Sharing the file itself needs a separate license

- Wrong or broken file? Email support@pencillane.com and we fix it or refund you
Why get the bundle
- Cards, games and color-by-code give children many chances to carry correctly.
The problem
43 x 3 lands on 129, not 172 or 86
Multi-digit multiplication needs two steps and a carry. Children skip one or place the carry in the wrong spot.
Multiplying only the ones
In 43 x 3, a child multiplies 3 x 3 = 9 and then writes 4 by itself, forgetting the tens need multiplying.
Dropping the carry
45 x 4: 4 x 5 is 20. Write 0, carry 2. The carried 2 is often left out.
Adding the carry too early
Some add the carried 2 to the 4 before multiplying, so the tens give the wrong total.
Answer choices match real slips: the unmultiplied tens digit, a missing carry, an early carry. Children multiply ones, carry, then multiply tens and add.
What’s inside

Questions
Before you buy.
Do I need the standard algorithm?
The problems work with partial products or the stacked method.
Are the facts in these problems hard?
Facts range, so children use what they know.
