Why get the bundle
- A bundle adds posters, sorts, games and cards, so a child sees the three parts of speech in many formats.
The problem
Is 'brave' a thing, an action, or a describing word?
Three parts of speech at once means three jobs to separate. Words like 'garden' can also be verbs, and 'bring' feels like a thing.
Tests that only half work
'Can you touch it?' works for nouns but fails for 'freedom' or 'brave.' Children need several checks.
Action words feel like nouns
'Bring' or 'garden' might feel like nouns. Children over-trust their first impression.
Describing words as nouns
'Brave' is a word for a person, so it seems like a name. Telling adjectives from nouns takes practice.
Words arrive one at a time with three labels to pick from. Children practice questions: is it a thing, an action, or does it describe?

Questions
Before you buy.
Does it include anchor charts?
Yes, the print set includes posters you can hang up as a reference.
Is it only single words?
The sample items are single words. Sentence-level work lives in other topics, like adjectives in sentences.
