Why get the bundle
- The bundle has bingo, games, sorts and worksheets, so children practice -ed endings across several formats.
The problem
'Yesterday I walk to school'
Children talk about yesterday long before they write it. Adding -ed seems simple until it doesn't apply, or until they add it twice.
Forgetting the -ed
A child writes 'Yesterday I walk.' The word 'yesterday' is there, but the verb never changes.
Spelling the ending
Jumped, played and walked are straightforward. Kids need many examples before it feels automatic.
Overusing -ed
Once children learn the pattern, they try it on every verb. Words that break the rule are a later step.
Each card has a time clue, 'yesterday,' and a verb in parentheses, so the child links the clue to the ending and writes or picks the past form.

Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.
