Why get the bundle
- A bundle prepares children for the three-way sentence, fragment, run-on sort, because the base skill is practiced in many formats.
The problem
'The rabbit ate a carrot' and 'Ate a carrot'
A fragment can sound fine out loud. Second and third graders hear their own talk and don't notice what is missing.
Missing the who
'Ate a carrot' leaves out the naming part. It sounds natural in speech, so the gap is hard to hear.
Missing the doing part
'The big brown rabbit' names something but never says what happens.
Capital and period fool them
A group of words with a capital and a period looks like a sentence even if it isn't complete.
Cards ask whether a group of words is a sentence or a fragment. Children check: who or what, what happened, and does it make sense alone?
What’s inside
30 questions, one per slide.
Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.
Sentence or Fragment
Written for 2nd to 3rd grade.
Title to answer key
A title slide first, the answer key last.
Google Slides & PowerPoint
One .pptx file that opens in both.
Look inside
One question per slide, with a box to type the answer.

Questions
Before you buy.
